Infosys to invest to develop the world’s largest training hub

Indian IT industry giants Infosys Technologies has said that they are planning to invest Rs 809 crore on expanding its global education centre in the next one year.

The NASDAQ listed company is planning to set up a new 9,000-seat training facility. This would enable them to train as many as 13,500 individuals in a single sitting.

In addition, Infosys is also constructing a 7,750 hostel rooms, which would make available a total of 10,000 rooms to the company.

A company official added: “When fully completed it will house five food courts, one employee care centre, one multimedia centre making it undoubtedly the largest training facility in the world.”

    Refering to your abovesaid article on calling the Indian software giant Infosys as the “BPO industry giant” is truly unfair. Infosys is primarly a high end software organisation, and it does not suit a website of your repute to be using such incorrect term, leading to misinformation.
