Securitas to provide services to General Motors
World’s biggest security services firm Securitas has confirmed that they have signed on a deal with the world’s largest automaker General Motors to provide them security services in North America and Europe.
The deal is worth a massive $800 million and it would last for a period of five years.
This latest deal between the two companies would start on Jan 1, 2007.
The two companies said in a statement that this extended deal would include guard and support services at about 150 locations in 21 countries in Europe, North America and Argentina.
The announcement of this new extended deal helped Securitas to improve its share price at the stock market. The shares in Securitas rose 1.5 percent to 138.5 crowns.
