Bajaj launches new auto products in Indonesia
Bajaj Auto has announced that they are launching their CNG three-wheeler in Indonesia. These new products would be replacing the outdated two-stroke three-wheelers plying on the roads of Jakarta.
The company plans to replace around 250 such vehicles in the next couple of months. Overall, they would be replacing as many as 15,000 vehicles.
This would help the company expand their sales in the export market. Bajaj Auto is retailing these vehicles through their partner PT. Abdi Raharja.
Sanjiv Bajaj, executive director, Bajaj Auto Ltd spoke on this new development: “We are proud to offer the Bajaj four-stroke CNG three-wheelers to the people of Indonesia. Jakarta is a very large, modern city and there is a need to replace the existing three-wheelers with a convenient, comfortable yet economical transport. We are happy to offer the Bajaj CNG, which will complement existing mass transport, to provide fast and easy point-to-point transportation solution to the citizens of the city.”
