Indian Airlines is India’s most trusted airline company
Considering the reputation government owned companies have in the Indian market, this survey result might come as a surprise to many airline travelers in India. A survey has found that the state owned company Indian (previously Indian Airlines) has been ranked as the most trusted airline in the service brands category for the third year running in an annual survey.
The survey was conducted by a leading business daily in collaboration with AC Nielson ORG-MARG. Indian was followed by Air Sahara, Jet Airways, Kingfisher Airlines and Air Deccan. All of these are privately owned airline companies.
The release from the company said in a statement: ”Each brand was evaluated on relatedness, perceived popularity, quality connotation, distinctiveness, uniqueness of what it stands for value for money that it offers.”
Popularity: 7%
