Betonsports Plc to close their US based operations
Betonsports Plc is one of the British online bookmakers who are now finding themselves in trouble with US lawmakers.
The company has now said that they would be closing down operations in the US market. This comes after the courts in USA ordered the company to stop taking bets in the country.
They would be closing their operations located in Costa Rica and Antigua. However, the consumers in Asia and Latin American countries would be able to continue placing bets on brands including 777ball.
Company spokesman Ged Brumby said in a statement: “By complying with the Department of Justice and not taking bets in the U.S., Betonsports is hoping the department will ease up on the payment processes.”
