Dell facing legal hassles in china over false advertisement

World’s largest personal computer manufacturer Dell is finding itself in legal hassles over a spate of false advertising in the market.

The company is being sued for selling different (cheaper) chip than the one advertised in the media.

As per incoming information, as many as 20 lawsuits have already been filed against the company in the courts.

Dell has already admitted to have made this mistake and have apologized to affected consumers. They are also offering full refunds to any customers who were still unsatisfied.

The problem lies in the company’s Inspiron 640M laptop. This PR fiasco is going to hurt the company’s business, which is facing serious challenge from local player Lenovo.
