China Mobile report massive boost in profits
China Mobile is the largest mobile service provider in the populous Chinese market and they have just come out with their latest revenue reports.
The company has posted a 25.5 percent rise in first-half net profit. China Mobile gained by a solid growth in operating revenue and subscriber numbers.
China Mobile reported a net profit of 30.17 billion yuan. This matches the market analyst’s expectations of 29.36-30.75 billion yuan.
The company now has around 274 million subscribers.
China Mobile said that they gained specifically in central and western regions and they also improved their position in the rural markets.
