Brian Pedlar leaving Merge Technologies as its Co-President
Medical software company Merge Technologies has confirmed in a statement that its interim co-President and co-Chief Executive Brian Pedlar has left the company.
The company is currently stuck in a probe by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. And this latest news resulted in company’s share taking a beating at the stock market.
Pedlar was responsible for looking after the company’s Cedara Software unit. And he was named the interim Co-President and Co-CEO of the company after the resignations of three high-level executives in July this year.
William Blair analyst Corey Tobin spoke on this new development: “We viewed Mr. Pedlar as integral to the OEM business and therefore see his departure as very concerning.”
