Honda to build a parts plant in Thailand
Japanese auto major Honda has said that they would be investing around 3.8 billion yen on building a new auto parts plant in Thailand.
This would be to meet the ever-growing demand from the domestic and other Asian markets.
Honda has a subsidiary named Asia Parts Manufacturing in the region located in the Ayutthaya province.
The new plant will have an annual output capacity of 550,000 auto body parts.
Honda expects production to begin at this new plant by June 2007.
They are aiming for 1.5 billion yen in annual sales in three years.
