Sony to sponsor CNN video podcasts
Sony Pictures has become the first major studio to sponsor the CNN video podcasts. The initial campaign being sponsored by the movie industry giant would feature the upcoming football drama “Gridiron Gang”
This drama features Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Sony would be placing its message on the CNN Entertainment site with banner ads featuring the film.
The news network CNN started broadcasting video podcasting in June and has an average viewership of around 4 million.
Market analysts believe that Sony was attracted to this video podcast feature due to its broad demographic reach.
