ICICI Bank collaborating with German Bank BayernLB

One of the leading private sector banks in India, ICICI Bank has announced that they are collaborating with Munich-based BayernLB. The two banks would be collaborating on sectors like treasury, capital markets, syndicated loans, trade finance and cash management services.

As per the deal signed by the two companies, they would also be providing reciprocal support for their customers. This means that customers of each of these two banks would get facilities from the branches of either of these two banks.

In addition, ICICI Bank would also help German investors to make investments in the Indian market considering the huge expertise they have in studying the Indian markets. The deal between the two banks was signed on by K V Kamath, managing director and CEO, ICICI Bank, Lalita D Gupte, joint managing director, ICICI Bank, Werner Schmidt, chairman of the Board of Management, BayernLB, and Rudolf Hanisch, deputy chairman of the Board of Management, BayernLB.
