General Motors luring customers with extended warranty offers
General Motors is the world’s largest seller of automobiles but are struggling badly in their home market of United States.
The company is now trying to lure in more customers by offering extended warranty on their 2007 models.
Impressively, the offer is valid on all the models including those, which the company has already sold in the market.
GM is offering a powertrain warranty of up to 100,000 miles or five years on these cars and this warranty is transferable to subsequent buyers and has no deductible.
The company is hoping that this alone would get back the customer base it lost to the Japanese automakers. GM claims that their quality has improved a lot in the recent years and this new offer is just a proof of their belief.
