Naza Automotive wants more land for their plant in Tamil Nadu

Malaysian automaker Naza is currently involved in building an auto plant in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The company has now asked for additional land for the expansion of their operations.

The Tamil Nadu government is expected to grant them this extra land.

Malaysian Works Minister S Samy Vellu said on this new development: “First they asked for 150 acres of land, which the state government was prepared to give…Now they have asked for 200 acres and I don’t think there will be any problems.”

They are planning to come up with their auto assembly plant in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu. They would be building their Naza and Kia car models here.
