Lenovo launches new AMD powered desktops
Advanced Micro Devices is the second largest maker of microprocessors for personal computers. The company has just received another boost as Chinese PC manufacturer Lenovo has launched a series of new products powered with AMD processors.
This comes just weeks after they secured a major deal with Dell, which is also going to launch AMD powered desktops.
Chou Kuang-jen, vice president of AMD Taiwan said in a statement on their new products: \”We offer a much better price-to-performance ratio for clients.”
Lenovo has been carrying AMD-based consumer desktops in China for three years and are now also selling commercial desktop products.
Lenovo said in a statement that using AMD processors give them a better value for money and in the end more profits.
