Sanyo might cut 1000 more jobs
Japanese electronics company Sanyo has said that they might cut up to 1,000 more jobs as they are aiming to rebuild its appliance operations.
The company is struggling in the market to compete against the rival companies and they have already cut 15 percent of its work force as part of a sweeping restructuring.
Sanyo has closed factories and have worked hard on streamlining unprofitable operations.
Sanyo is seen as a weak player in the market dominated by players like Matsushita as they have failed to develop new products at a faster pace to stay up-to-date in the market.
