Toyota continues to dominate the big three in USA
The US market saw some gains in the sales of trucks and SUVs in the month of September as oil prices are seeing some drops. However, Toyota continues to dominate the big three domestic automakers in the US market.
General Motors, Ford Motor and DaimlerChrylser have been relying on sales of their trucks and SUVs since a long time. Now, Toyota is managing to gain customers in this segment.
The Japanese automaker posted a 25 percent year-over-year sales increase in September. In fact, Toyota sold more vehicles than any of the other companies.
They sold 222,950 vehicles in September. The truck sales on its own saw an improvement of around 34.9 percent compared to last year.
