Microsoft to use Blinkx technology to power the video search on MSN and Live.com
Blinkx.tv is one of the leading players in providing search services for searching videos on the web. The company has now announced one of the most important partnerships they have managed to sign up.
They would now be providing video search capabilities to software giants Microsoft for their MSN and Live.com services.
This deal comes just as Google has announced their takeover of YouTube.com, which is the leading web service to host user-generated videos on the net.
Blinkx is already providing similar services to other companies including Lycos. They would now power the backbone for users searching for video on portions of MSN and Live.com.
