Airbus might announce a massive job cut to get back on track

European plane maker Airbus is facing a lot of problems with the development and deliveries of their new generation of planes to their customers.

Now the company’s new head has said in a statement that the company’s structure need to be simplified and they might require to announce a job cut in the coming months.

Louis Gallois said in a statement: “It will be painful, yes, because there will be job cuts.”

Gallois added: “We have to ask questions about the sites, the assembly lines, in order to rationalize it. We cannot live with two sites that each share all the assembly lines. But nothing is decided today. We have several months of study before us before taking decisions.”
