IndiGo plans to serve 30 cities by the end of the decade

IndiGo is the latest entrant in the Indian low cost domestic airline market and the company has now said that they plan to serve 30 cities in the country by the end of the decade.

The company is going to use a fleet of 40 A-320s to achieve this goal. They just recently took the delivery of its third new A-320 aircraft on September 28 and would be adding a new one this week.

IndiGo added that they are hoping to carry 4,75,000 passengers with six airplanes by the end of this calendar year.

They would get deliveries of nine more crafts next year and by the end of next year, they would have in service 15 aircrafts.

IndiGo also recently began twice-daily services from Delhi to Hyderabad with a same-aircraft continuation to Chennai and back.
