Wall Street Journal: MySpace.com wants to expand relationship with Google

Search engine giant Google has just acquired the online video sharing service YouTube.com. And now, the Wall Street Journal has reported that MySpace.com has expressed their desire to expand their relationship with Google, as YouTube is one of their prime rivals on the internet.

As per the report in the WSJ, Google Inc chief executive Eric Schmidt and advertising sales vice president Tim Armstrong are all set to meet executives from News Corp, including chairman Rupert Murdoch.

Google and MySpace.com are already in collaboration over online advertisement on the social networking portal. Google recently signed up a $900 million ad deal with MySpace for video advertisement.
