Wipro to acquire cMango Inc

Indian IT Company Wipro has announced their plans to acquire yet another foreign company. This time Wipro is targeting a US-based technology infrastructure consulting company cMango Inc.

The deal is expected to be worth around $20 million and it would be Wipro’s third such acquisition in the last couple of months. The company has plans to acquire the entire stake in cMango Inc and the deal is expected to be completed with a cash transaction.

However, a part of this amount is expected to be dependent upon the performance of this unit in the coming years. cMango has a presence in India through a unit located in the Pune city and has around 120 employees working there.

This acquisition is expected to bring around 86 new clients to the company and would also add consulting capability to Wipro’s technology infrastructure management. This IT division is one of the fastest growing sectors in the world.
