Honda looking to establish a unit in Rajasthan
Japanese automaker Honda has said that they are looking for a location in Rajasthan for setting up another unit in India. Honda is planning to invest as much as $450 million in this unit.
Honda Siel Cars India officials have met with the state officials and they expressed their interest in the Khuskhera industrial area on the Jaipur-Delhi highway.
Honda is planning to get access to around 700 acres of land near the highway in Khuskhera. This place is around 130 km from the state’s capital and is closer to the national capital Delhi.
Honda Siel currently has a unit located at Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh - some 25 km from New Delhi. They sell models including Honda City, Honda Civic, Honda Accord and Honda CRV in the Indian market.
