Mukesh Ambani: Richest Indian?

Reliance Industries has now emerged and this has helped its chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani to become the India’s richest individual.

Reliance also recently toppled ONGC as India’s largest corporate house among listed entities. And with RIL’s market cap touching a figure of around Rs 1,65,000 crore, Mukesh is now theoretically worth around Rs 70,000 crore.

This has made him richer than Wipro’s Azim Premji who is now in second place with a net worth of around Rs 64,700 crore. Mukesh’s younger brother Anil Ambani is at third spot with a net worth of over Rs 61,000 crore.
