EMI’s Parlophone looking for talent on the net

EMI’s Parlophone label is looking for talent on the internet as they have just opened up a new portal inviting aspiring singers and groups.

This label has artists like Paul McCartney, Kylie Minogue, Radiohead and Norah Jones and they are now inviting the web users to send them music files online or by mail.

Nigel Coxon, head of Parlophone’s artist and repertoire team said in a statement on this new development: “One of our top priorities is to keep our talent-spotting process as efficient and up-to-date as possible. This new system allows us to do just that, while at the same time helping us stay committed to giving anyone the opportunity to be heard.”
