Jagson Airlines to acquire 20 Airbus planes
Just days after Indian budget airline company SpiceJet announced their plans to acquire 10 737 planes from Boeing and Go Air saying that it planned to buy 20 Airbus A320 aircraft for $1.2 billion, we have yet another Indian airline company jumping in the fray.
Another new budget airline company in the Indian market, Jagson Airlines has now announced their plans to buy 20 Airbus A321 aircraft at an estimated cost of nearly $1.3 billion.
The company said that they are planning to place an order for 14 aircraft with an option to buy six more with Europe based Airbus. Jagson Airlines has plan to go national this coming May. They are operating in the Indian market since 1992 and are now aiming to become a big player in the domestic aviation market.
Some other airline companies vying for consumer’s attention are state-run Indian Airlines, Jet Airways Ltd., Kingfisher Airlines, and Air Deccan.
