MySpace founder Brad Greenspan has reportedly acquired a majority stake in video search Web site Flurl.com.
The financial detail of this deal has not been revealed to the media. The investments were made through LiveUniverse which Greenspan founded to focus on video, entertainment and social networking sites.
This deal would now allow the company to begin discussions with financial institutions and content partners focused in the online video space.
Flurl.com specializes in indexing images, audio and flash content on Internet sites by relying on RSS feeds and HTML patterns. It had more than 5.6 million unique users in September 2006 as per available statistics.
