Air India leases three aircraft from Montrose Global Capital LLC
Indian airline company Air India has revealed that they have signed on a letter of intent (LoI) with Montrose Global Capital LLC for dry lease of three aircraft.
This comes just as the company is planning to ramp up its operations for the busy summer season next year.
This deal is for dry lease of three Boeing 747-400 aircraft and these would join the Air India’s fleet in February and March next year.
Air India in addition has also decided to take one 767-300 ER aircraft on wet lease from Globespan Airways UK.
The Indian aviation industry has matured a lot in the recent years after the entry of budget airline operators offering attractive packages to consumers who do not expect much while traveling through air.
