Donald J. Rosenberg is senior vice president and general counsel at Apple Computer
Apple Computer has named Donald J. Rosenberg as its new senior vice president and general counsel. Interestingly, Rosenberg currently hold similar position in another US based tech giant IBM.
This move comes after the company had to publicly apologize to shareholders and employees after an internal probe uncovered irregularities in past stock option grants. The findings also raised “serious concerns” about two former officers and Apple’s former chief financial officer, Fred Anderson had to resign from the company’s board.
At Apple Computer, Rosenberg would be directly reporting to the company Chief Executive Steve Jobs.
Apple did not also mention whom Rosenberg is replacing in the company. The company had in 2005 named Nancy Heinen as senior vice president and general counsel.
