Wall Street Journal: Boeing expected to get USD 10 billion worth of orders more
Media group Wall Street Journal has said in a report that US based aircraft manufacturer Boeing is all set to receive orders worth more than USD 10 billion in the coming weeks.
WSJ said more and more airline companies are expected to replace their aging fleet and they would be ordering newer planes from Boeing.
The journal also reported that General Electric’s Commercial Aviation Services is expected to order as many as 15 Boeing 777s in a deal valued at $3.5 billion at list prices.
In addition, Boeing is also rumored to be talking with carriers in Europe and Asia for an additional 50 wide-body jets. If all of these orders are indeed places, Boeing would close the year with 1,028 net orders.
