Kingfisher Airlines gets four of their Airbus A-321 planes
Indian airline company Kingfisher Airlines has said that they have received delivery of four Airbus A-321s in the past three weeks. The company has ordered as many as 43 aircrafts from the company.
Kingfisher said that the first of these deliveries was made in Hamburg, Germany, late last month. This means Kingfisher Airlines is the first airline in India to have an A-321 plane in their fleet.
The other domestic airline company to have order this plane is government owned Indian (Indian Airlines).
Vijay Mallya said in a statement on their plans: “Kingfisher is the first airline to introduce the A-321 aircraft in India. Given our growth and market share that we have achieved, I look forward to doing more business with Airbus.”
The company already has 10 Airbus A-320s and three A-319s flying on the domestic routes in India. And they are due to receive 30 more of these single-aisle planes from Airbus in near future.
