Dell manages to beat Wall Street’s average estimate
Dell is the world’s largest maker of personal computers though their domination is currently being challenged by players like Hewlett Packard and Lenovo. However, the company has taken some serious steps to counter the competition.
They recently started using AMD processors in their products ending the monopoly Intel had with Dell products in the market. And this has helped them boost their reputation in the market as it gives more flexibility to the end user.
Dell has also now managed to top Wall Street’s average estimate in their latest quarterly reports. Their net income for the third quarter was $677 million. The revenues were at $14.38 billion.
This impressive performance helped the company gain in the stock market as their share price improved by around 10%.
