General Motors expected to come out with their fuel saving vehicle launch strategy
World’s largest automaker General Motors was the target of a recently launched motion picture named ‘ Who Killed the Electric Car?’. The motion picture focused on how the company conspired to kill an electric car project some years back.
However, GM is now rumored to be working on a strategy to show its commitment to new fuel-saving technologies. And this includes development of new electric vehicles.
Market sources claim that GM Chief Executive Rick Wagoner is expected to highlight a development program on such models at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show.
However, the company is also expected to wait until the Detroit auto show in January to comment on their plans to develop electric cars. GM spokesman Chris Preuss spoke about the rumors in the market: “Technology is an area where we have seen an acceleration in our efforts in the past few years, and it’s safe to say we’ll be providing more information on this.”
