Mahindra and Renault working on ramping up dealership network in India

Mahindra Renault is a joint venture between Renault and the Mahindra group. The two companies are working together on launching some exciting products from the Renault stable in the Indian market.

They are due to launch Renault’s sedan Logan in India sometime next year and to prepare for that the group is now planning to ramp up its dealerships across the country.

As per available information, Mahindra Renault’s officials have already started visiting the primary dealerships of the company in the metro cities. They would be working on implementing Renault’s global approach in marketing and distribution throughout their dealership in India.

Mahindra is also planning to add 15-20 new dealerships in the metros. Rajesh Jejurikar, managing director, Mahindra Renault spoke about their plans for the Indian market: “Mahindra Renault will use its Scorpio dealerships to sell Logan and it variants. There will not be any separate dealerships for Logan alone.”
