IBM to acquire Vallent Corp.
US based tech giants IBM has said that they are now acquiring Vallent Corp. Vallent is based in Bellevue, Wash. and they specialize in making network-monitoring tools for wireless service providers.
IBM did not reveal the financial aspects of this deal.
Vallent has many big names in their customer base including Cingular, Nextel, and China Mobile. IBM said that they would be integrating their products in their Tivoli Netcool line.
