One of the worst affected parties was the budget airline company Air Deccan who had to cancel as many as 805 flights during this period. The problems lasted only around 7-10 days and it was enough to cause these massive financial losses for the companies.
Government owned Indian (Airlines) was also affected massively as it had to cancel 351 flights. Jet Airways, which recently acquired Air Sahara also suffered due to cancellation of as many as 227 flights. Air India and SpiceJet cancelled 72 flights while Air Sahara cancelled 64 flights during this period. Kingfisher Airlines and GoAir had to cancel 43 and 6 flights each.
