Ericsson and Intel to work on mobile broadband technologies
Sweden based telecom industry giant Ericsson would be working with microprocessor industry leaders Intel on applications for mobile computers.
They would be working on products, which would make the mobile devices more usable thus enhancing their value for the end user.
The companies said that their efforts would be aimed at enhancing the appeal of mobile broadband and multimedia for consumers and corporations.
They would develop solutions for the mobile operators so that they can further offer the mobile broadband connectivity to the end users of mobile devices.
These products are likely to be based on HSPA platform for mobile broadband and IMS platform for convergence.
