Boeing hoping to generate major business from India
US based aircraft manufacturer Boeing has said that they are planning to bid for $15 billion of Indian military orders in the next decade.
The company is aiming to benefit from improving ties between the US government and India.
Boeing would be working in collaboration with local companies on making potential bids for the Indian defense purchases.
They had earlier said this year that they were planning to bid for a contract to supply India with 126 warplanes. This deal alone could be worth as much as USD 10 billion.
However, they are likely to face serious competition from European companies for these contracts.
