WestBridge Capital invests in Mauj Telecom
Mobile entertainment firm Mauj Telecom has confirmed that the group has just received a financial boost through an investment by WestBridge Capital Partners, Intel Capital, and Sequoia Capital.
These three companies have decided to invest close to around USD 10 million in the People group of companies’ mobile entertainment firm Mauj Telecom. This would help the company further develop their activities in mobile gaming, music and messaging.
Mauj Telecom specializes in developing these facilities in various platforms including J2ME, Smartphone, Symbian, and I-mode. The company is also partnering with the leading wireless operators and portals in the world to expand their operations in other countries.
People group CMD Anupam Mittal said in a statement that the company would be using this invested money in growing their business operations organically and through acquisitions.
