Honda Siel Cars India to raise prices of their cars next month
If you are planning to buy the new Honda Civic, this is the right time to go and book it. Honda Siel Cars India has said that they are considering raising the prices of their cars sometime next month.
Recently launched Honda CR-V would be unaffected by this price hike considering the company has already updated the price to match the increasing input costs.
A Honda spokesperson said on this announcement: “Input prices have gone up as raw materials have become more expensive; beyond a point the company cannot absorb the increase.”
Interestingly, Honda has not changed the prices of their cars in nearly two years. They sell Honda City, Honda Civic, Honda Accord and Honda CR-V in India.
The company added that they are aiming at sales of 60,000 units in India this fiscal and a turnover of Rs 4,500 crore. Last year saw them selling around 45,000 units. Honda further said that they aim to achieve sales of 1.5 lakh units by 2010.
