Loremo LS: German Loremo AG to launch a 157 MPG car

The German automobile company Loremo AG has announced that they would soon be launching their new model Loremo LS at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show to be held this week.

The company claims that the model is ultra efficient when it comes to fuel efficiency. It is a lightweight passenger car with outstanding aerodynamics. Loremo LS is powered with a two cylinder Turbo Diesel engine with 20 hp and 160km/h top speed.

The shocking part of the whole deal is that the company claims that the car only needs 1.5l per 100km. this means that the average of this vehicle is an astonishing 157MPG. In comparison, Toyota claims a 55MPG average for their hugely popular Toyota Prius model.

Loremo claims that the reason behind this awesome fuel efficiency in this model is the low weight of the car, which is around 450kg. They have developed this car to be safe and efficient and have removed all the unnecessary features. Interestingly, the automobile is capable of carrying four people.

The company also has plans to offer a higher end model of the car powered by a 50 hp, 2.7l/100km engine in the coming times. It would have the top speed of an awesome 220km/h.
