Kingfisher Airlines offering Dish TV to their customers on board

Air travelers in India now can watch live television while traveling on Kingfisher Airlines. The airline company has announced a tie up with the Zee Group and they would be offering Dish TV facilities on their planes.

Passengers on the supported flights would be able to choose between 15 channels while flying.

Kingfisher Airlines Chairman Vijay Mallya said on this development: “We will fit a satellite dish in each airplane that will capture live feeds from the satellite and transmit it to each TV screen. Within two years, all of our aircraft will have satellite TV connections.”

Zee Group Chief Subhash Chandra added: “We are looking to get into a space that has not been explored before. The future of entertainment lies in giving the viewer what content he wants and as and when he wants it.”
