Gary D. Forsee is the new Chairman of Sprint Nextel
US based mobile service provider Sprint Nextel has said that they are naming their president and chief executive, Gary D. Forsee as the new Chairman of the company.
He would be replacing Tim Donahue, who retires as executive chairman at the end of this month.
Sprint had announced the departure of Donahue in October. He was the CEO of Nextel before Sprint and Nextel merged together to form Sprint Nextel.
Forsee has been working as the president and chief executive of Sprint Nextel since the formation of the combined entity in August 2005.
He also took over the duties of Chief Operating Officer Len Lauer after Lauer stepped down in August.
