Dell delays filing of full third-quarter results
PC manufacturing market giants Dell has said that they are delaying releasing their full third-quarter results.
The company and the regulatory bodies are still investigating their accounting practices.
Dell said in a filing that they are delaying filing the results because of questions raised during investigations by the SEC, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and the company’s audit committee.
Dell added that they are cooperating with the investigators and they are committed to resolving the issues raised in the probe.
Chairman Michael Dell further said that the company expects to resolve the issue with NASDAQ within the standard 6-month review period. Nasdaq had threatened them recently as they had also not filed a second-quarter report with the SEC.
