HCL Technologies collaborates with Cisco
HCL Technologies Ltd has said in a statement that they are collaborating with Cisco Systems through a unique Royalty model. Cisco is based in the United States and is one of the global leaders in networking space.
As per the deal between these two companies, Cisco has licensed HCL Technologies the Intellectual Property (IP) for one of its network management products. HCL would now be completely responsible for the engineering of the product.
This new deal comes as the two companies marked the completion of 10 years of their partnership. Theirs has been one of the largest and longest Product Engineering engagements in the history of Indian IT.
HCL currently has over 1,100 employees delivering consistent and high-quality Services to Cisco and in the last 10 years, HCL has rapidly expanded its Cisco operations.
