Hyundai Verna flops but company still gains in December

South Korean automaker Hyundai is a major player in the Indian automotive market. However, the company is facing disaster with their recently launched Verna saloon which is failing to entice buyers to their showrooms.

They also gained in terms of exports as they sold 12,288 units in the overseas market in the month. This itself is an improvement of around 50%.

Hyundai India sold 22,314 units of Santro and Getz, 47 units of Elantra, 34 units of Sonata Embera and 18 units of their SUVs Terracan and Tucson.
