Sirius Satellite Radio now has 6 million+ subscribers

Satellite radio service provider Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. has confirmed that they now have more than 6 million subscribers.

The company further said that they have reached positive free cash flow for the first time.

They had earlier lowered its subscriber growth outlook in December putting the projected subscriber base at 5.9 million to 6.1 million by year end.

In the end, Sirius ended the year 2006 with 6.02 million subscribers. This is an 82 percent improvement from 3.32 million subscribers last year.
