Indian software company i-flex solutions Ltd has said that they are acquiring the Singapore unit of Capco.
Interestingly, i-flex itself is owned by the US based database software industry giants Oracle.
This deal would be conducted by the i-flex’s Singapore unit. The company believes that this deal would strengthen i-flex Consulting which specializes in providing IT services to banks in the Asia-Pacific region.
Vijay Sharma, Senior Vice-President i-flex Consulting spoke on this deal: “We are witnessing strong business growth as several banks in the Asia-Pacific region, including Japan, undertake large-scale technology and consulting investments.”
The financial details of this deal have not been released in the media. I-flex itself specializes in developing software solutions for banks, insurance and financial services firms.
