Microsoft Zune failed to get into the top-10 list of holiday devices sold
Microsoft launched their iPod killed Zune in November last year. But the device has met lukewarm response in the market.
Research firm claims that the device could not land into the top 10 list of holiday devices sold in the market. The statistics were revealed by the research analyst firm Current Analysis.
Impressively, Apple dominated this list with eight of their products featuring in the top 10 digital audio devices sold between Nov. 27 and Dec. 30. SanDisk took the other two spots.
Apple further accounted for 64 percent of digital audio devices sold during that time period. SanDisk came second with a 22% market share. Microsoft Zune took 3%.
However, this data did not include sales from the Wal-Mart or Apple stores.
