Hertz Global Holdings to cut 200 jobs in the United States

Car Rental Company Hertz Global Holdings has said that they are planning to cut around 200 jobs in their US based operations.

The company is aiming to cut costs by up to $15.8 million annually with these job cuts.

Hertz further said that it expects to record a restructuring charge of $3.3 million to $3.8 million for the first quarter of 2007.

These cuts would be made at their corporate headquarters in Park Ridge, New Jersey and its U.S. service center in Oklahoma City.

The company further said that this is just one of the many steps it is going to take to cut costs in the coming years.
