Best Buy would soon start selling Casio digital cameras in United States
Japanese electronics maker Casio has said that Best Buy is likely to soon start selling their digital cameras throughout its U.S. network of stores. The two companies have successfully conducted the tests.
Best Buy has been testing selling these digital cameras for three months last year and the sales impressed the company.
Casio President Kazuo Kashio further said that they are also in talks with Japanese wireless carrier to start supplying handsets. They currently supply their mobile handsets to Verizon Wireless in the United States.
He added on the Best Buy deal: “The test sale generated very satisfying results and I think Best Buy shares that view. Sales in the next business year (from April) will likely get a considerable boost.”
He further said: “Our 10 mega-pixel model met strong demand. I think we will be exceeding our own forecast.”
